This has been driving me nuts for months — and it just keeps getting worse. It is some sort of creepy obsession for Dowd. I think you actually missed a few columns that could go on that list — I recall one at least one where she contrasted his in-flight meal (Nicorette) with hers (ribs). If I were inclined to engage in the type of virtually data-less pop-psych analysis she herself favors I would diagnosis a serious eating disorder. My family is sick of hearing me rant about this — so glad someone else is if not ranting at least noting.
